IJskoffie zoals hij volgens mij bedoeld is. Ik was verrast door de eenvoud; een heerlijk Italiaans bolletje vanille-ijs, met een vers gezette espresso eroverheen.<\/p>\n<p>De warme espresso druipt over het koude bolletje ijs, langzaam mengen de smaken zich. Je proeft warme koffie, dan weer koud vanille-ijs en uiteindelijk smaakt het als een heel lekker mocca-ijsje.<\/p>\n<p>Ik heb die vakantie heel wat ijskoffie\u2019s gedronken. Toen ik van de week langs de Italiaanse IJssalon in de stad fietste kwam de herinnering ineens omhoog. Ik eet nog maar zelden ijs, teveel suiker, het is niet goed voor me. Maar nu had ik echt zin in zo\u2019n lekkere ijskoffie. Net als in een Italiaans koffiebarretje, kocht ik eerst een bonnetje bij de kassa. (Nog zo\u2019n ouderwetse met grote drukknoppen en een slinger aan de zijkant.) Ik bestelde een bakje vanille-ijs. \u2018Lekker zo puur&#8217; zei de ijsverkoper, &#8216;heb je een goede espressomachine?\u2019 Ik vertelde hem over mijn eigen barista thuis. \u2018Leuk, dat klinkt goed\u2019 en hij schepte nog wat extra vers gemaakt ijs in het bakje.<\/p>\n<p>Thuis vulde ik twee glaasjes met wat vanille-ijs, manlief zette de espresso erbij.
