Moeder hapt en pikt in de appel, het jong kwettert om haar heen. Het snaveltje wijd open, moeder voert kleine hapjes. Ze zijn allebei mooi bruin van kleur. Het jong, lekker dik wollig en nog wat donzig op het kopje. Ik zou hem wel even zachtjes willen aaien over z&#8217;n borstje. Het is vertederend, de twee zo samen te zien.<\/p>\n<p>Soms houd ik mijn hart vast. Vanmorgen vloog een ekster op moeder en jong af, ze vlogen in paniek weg. E\u00e9n tegen de ruit. Gelukkig kwamen ze beiden ongedeerd weg. Het liefst houd ik de hele tijd de wacht, kijken of er geen katten of eksters in de buurt zijn. Ik weet, het is de natuur, maar toch. Als je iedere morgen zo\u2019n lief mereljong op je terras hebt, ga je er van houden.
